Towers Pharmacy is now accepting electronic prescriptions.

 

Towers Pharmacy is ready to accept paperless electronic prescriptions. 

 

What are electronic prescriptions?

 

These are a digital version of a paper prescription. During your consultation, your doctor healthcare provider can send your electronic prescription to you as an SMS or email.

 

Electronic prescriptions will currently come through as a QR code or ‘token’ through your mobile or email. See below

 

 

So ask for an electronic prescription instead of a paper prescription.

 

How do I get these prescriptions to the pharmacy?

 

Your doctor or healthcare provider can forward an electronic prescription to our email (info@towers.net.au) or you can forward it to us. 

 

Contact your to check that they are ready for electronic prescriptions and that your contact details are up to date.

 

What are the benefits?

 

The prescription is stored on your mobile or digital device (via email), making it more accessible and safe.   It allows for the prescription process to be streamlined and faster than traditional paper prescriptions.

What if you only have a paper prescription?

 

Not to worry there are 2 options:

 

1. Post -  we will continue to accept original prescriptions via post. We will only be able to send out your prescription medications once we receive the original prescription.

How to order your prescriptions?

 

1. Place your order on our website or over the phone, and complete the transaction.

 

2. For electronic prescriptions. Forward the URL link from the SMS electronic prescription in an email to info@towers.net.au and include your name and order number.   Or if you have a print out of your electronic prescription, then send a photo of it in an email to info@towers.net.au 

 

For paper prescriptions, send your original prescription to:

3. Once we receive your order and valid prescription, one of our pharmacists will contact you to confirm your order and we will endeavour to send your order out within 1-2 working days (provided the medicine is currently in stock).
